Lehnert Wins Award For First Film Score

FIEA alum Paige Lehnert recently won a “Best Feature Film Score” award at the 2014 Portsmouth International Film Festival for her musical work on the film “The Search For Simon.”

The film also won the “Best Feature Screenplay” award at the festival as well as the “Independent Spirit” award at the Monaco International Film Festival and “Best Film Audience” award at the Boston Science Fiction Film Festival. Lehnert shared composing credits with two other musicians and had to score almost the entire film in one week. She is now working on several unannounced new film projects.
