FIEA Cohort 20 Kicks Off Exciting Year

ORLANDO, FL – Today, the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA) M.S. Interactive Entertainment program welcomes 78 new students to the UCF Downtown campus in Orlando’s Creative Village.

This is our largest class to date and brings our total FIEA student enrollment for the Fall 2023 term to 146 graduate students in the specific development areas of game design, technical design, level design, project management, technical art, 3D art, animation, software engineering and programming. These students hope to enter the video game, film, simulation and other technology-related fields in 2024 upon graduation.

The incoming class comes to UCF from computer science, engineering, digital media, art, design, animation, creative writing, business and many other technology undergraduate programs from many of the leading universities around the world.

The institutions include the University of Central Florida, Savannah College of Art & Design, the University of Florida, Florida Atlantic University, Florida State University, National Central University of Taiwan, Pratt Institute, Embry Riddle University, the University of Missouri, Vanderbilt University, the University of Hong Kong, the University of Cincinnati, the University of Mumbai, Vellore Institute of Technology, the University of Southern California, Babson College, Stetson University, the University of Mysore, George Mason University, the India Institute of Technology, Baskent University, Southern Methodist University and the University of California-Santa Barbara, among others.

The faculty and staff welcome this class and are excited for the upcoming year.
