FIEA Cohort 18 Graduation Showcase

Orlando, FL – The Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA), the #1 rated graduate video game development program, will showcase the Cohort 18 student projects developed in 2022.

The games Hermea, K3LVN, Soul Shard and Drain Runner will be recognized on December 15 at 6pm in The Bridge at UCF Downtown. Game plaques will be presented to each team member followed by a dinner event in the UCF Studio 500 soundstage to recognize their achievements. The students will graduate on Friday December 16, 2pm at Additions Arena on the UCF main campus. The 71 new alumni will be awarded Master of Science in Interactive Entertainment degrees.

The students graduate in the disciplines of 3D Art, Animation, Level Design, Technical Art, Programming, Technical Design and Project Management. Many of the graduates have obtained employment at many of the world’s best entertainment studios and simulation companies such as Electronic Arts, Iron Galaxy, Epic Games, Ubisoft, Universal Studios, Bungie, Microsoft Games Studios, Insomniac, Dream Haven, Deck Nine Games, Velan Studios, Lost Boys Interactive, Wonderstorm, Jam City, WildBrain, Third Time Games, Unhumanly and Pocket Pinada.

The FIEA master’s program, part of the Nicholson School of Communication and Media, is the #1 rated graduate game development program in North America & Europe per The Princeton Review. FIEA now has over 940 graduates employed at over 250 companies and organizations around the world and is located at UCF Downtown within the Orlando Creative Village.
