FIEA Cohort 17 Graduates

Orlando, FL – The Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA), the #1 rated graduate video game development program, graduated Cohort 17 on Friday, December 17 at Additions Arena on the UCF main campus.

The 55 students completed their Master of Science in Interactive Entertainment and showed off their Capstone projects at a graduation event on Thursday at the FIEA campus at UCF Downtown. The projects highlighted were The Last Spark, Rings of Hell, Peblito and Zenko: A Fox’s Tale; each game is currently available on the STEAM platform.

The students graduated in the disciplines of 3D Art, Animation, Level Design, Technical Art, Programming, Technical Design and Project Management. Many of the graduates have obtained employment at many of the world’s best entertainment studios and simulation companies such as Electronic Arts, Iron Galaxy, Activision Blizzard, Activision Raven, Gun Fire Games, Universal Studios, Infinity Ward, Intrepid Studios, Vertex Solutions, Falcon’s Creative and UCF IST.

The FIEA master’s program, part of the Nicholson School of Communication and Media, is the #1 rated graduate game development program in North America & Europe per The Princeton Review. FIEA now has over 850 graduates employed at over 250 companies and organizations around the world. In February, Electronic Arts will open its new EA Tiburon 180,000 square foot studio in downtown Orlando with FIEA and UCF Downtown in the Creative Village.
