FIEA Cohort 16 Graduates this Weekend

Orlando, FL – The sixteenth cohort of the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA) graduate on Saturday, December 19th with the UCF College of Sciences at 6:30pm. The students receive a Master of Science in Interactive Entertainment degree. Sixty-six FIEAns will receive their diploma after an exceptional year of learning and development of four outstanding capstone productions, Izcalli of the Wind which is available on itch.io, Keepers of the Trees and Flicker of Hope both available on Steam and Kore out of Steam December 25. These productions were completed remotely and provided some of the best productions yet by FIEA students. The graduates have accepted offers for many companies including Epic Games, Electronic Arts, Iron Galaxy, AMD, Cubic Simulation, Sony PlayStation, Psyonix, Aspyr Studios, Raven Software, Airship Syndicate, Mass Virtual, GLU Mobile, Jam City and UCF.

The FIEA program, part of the Nicholson School of Communication and Media, is the #1 rated graduate game development program in North America per The Princeton Review. FIEA now has over 800 graduates employed at over 230 companies and organizations around the world. In 2021, Electronic Arts will open its new EA Tiburon 180,000 square foot studio in downtown Orlando with FIEA and UCF Downtown in the Creative Village.
