Ron Weaver

Technical Design Director

Ron Weaver has been a game programmer and designer since 2001 when he started working on Toontown Online for Walt Disney Imagineering.

Male faculty member headshoot

He has helped develop not just games but also theme park attractions, web sites, interactive television systems, military simulations, mixed reality projects, DVD’s, museum exhibits, and even the choreography for a Hannah Montana console title (no seriously). Highlights of his project experience include working with Electronic Arts, Walt Disney World, n-Space, WDPRO, Orlando Science Center, 360Ed, Disney Vacation Club, and his mother (when her laptop dies).

After graduating with bachelor’s degrees in computer science and religion (and a dance minor) from Emory University, Ron earned his master’s degree in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon’s Entertainment Technology Center. In his free time, he enjoys performing in improv shows, dancing, and referring to himself in the third person.
