Nitin Bakshi
Technical Art Instructor
Nitin Bakshi joins FIEA Art Faculty as an alum from Cohort 17 with experience in both the gaming industry from Electronic Arts and ongoing research at the University of Central Florida.
Nitin is a computer science graduate who found his passion for art and games through photography and hours of playing FIFA 2005. What began with playing matches during high school weekends and learning 3D modeling evolved into a career that blends technology, creativity and interactive storytelling. During undergrad, he discovered multiple game design courses and published research that eventually led him to FIEA for his Interactive Entertainment M.S. That journey came full circle when he got to work on EA Sports FC, his favorite game of all time, and a dream come true for the kid who spent countless hours playing it.
Now, he is diving deeper into the world of simulations as a Ph. D. researcher, with a focus on optimizing the art pipeline in game development. Outside of work, you will likely find him behind a camera lens, singing, playing all sports, or exploring Orlando in search of the next best food spot or ice cream shop.
