David Van Etten
Level Design Instructor
David Van Etten is a proud alumnus of FIEA Cohort 11, where he pitched and lead the design of the asymmetrical multiplayer capstone game, Mall Cop.
Since graduating, David has worked as a full-time game designer at Iron Galaxy Studios in downtown Orlando, where he has helped ship several titles for Iron Galaxy’s various partners. He has worked in multiple capacities as a designer on different projects, from level design, UI design, technical design, and general gameplay and systems design. He has experience developing titles for PC, console, and mobile, and has worked in various genres ranging from action/adventure, FPS, fighting, space-flight simulation, and horror.
